What is the Promotorx Transfomative Educator Program?

Created and facilitated by Professor Dr. Marisol Ruiz, PTEP teaches students how to incorporate culturally sustaining pedagogies and counter-narratives into curriculum development to build educational experiences that are driven by students' personal and cultural strengths.

As a PromotorX Transformational Educator, you will be provided multiple opportunities that provide critical insights into the world of education. PTEP activities are designed to support the development of specialized knowledge, skills and perspectives that allow participants to explore and experience how education can be transformational.
